Jennifer R. Taylor Bailey is an associate of the firm who works closely with you and your family, public and private benefits providers, employers, business partners, professional services providers, fiduciaries and charitable organizations to make sure that your Estate Plan meets your unique personal and financial objectives.
Jennifer helps individuals who have legal questions in the areas of estate planning, gifts, guardianship, health care advance directives, litigation and general practice, Medicaid, Medicare, personal injury settlements, powers of attorney, probate, taxes, trusts and wills. She offers a special focus on the creation and defense of pet trusts.
She also helps businesses devise win/win strategies that maximize benefits for claimants while minimizing the overall cost to and liability of insurance companies and employers.
Jennifer is a member of the trust and estate section of the Denver/Colorado Bar Association, where she participates in the Statutory Revisions Committee. In this capacity, she was co-author of the Colorado Disposition of Last Remains Act. She has served as a law clerk in the Denver Probate Court.
Jennifer has also worked in-house for an insurance company, where she managed a significant caseload of insurance defense litigation.
Jennifer has volunteered her services with Colorado Lawyers for the Arts and Rocky Mountain Animal Defense, where she sits on the Board of Directors.
Jennifer holds a law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia, and has completed additional work in tax – including estate tax, federal income tax, corporate tax and tax accounting. Her undergraduate degree in psychology is from Michigan State University, Honors College.
